Scope

This standard specifies the analysis method for oily sewage of offshore oil development industry, especially suitable for the analysis of water samples with petroleum hydrocarbon oil content greater than 10mg/L. Alternative analytical methods (increasing or decreasing the amount of water used for extraction) are allowed for the determination of other relevant concentrations.
