Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the air quality testing methods in the cabin of non-dangerous goods. This standard is applicable to air quality testing in ship transportation, port loading and unloading, and other dangerous workplaces that lack oxygen or may produce harmful gases. It is also applicable to departments such as shipbuilding, mining, petrochemical, underground engineering, culvert operations, and grain storage.
