Scope

This standard specifies the term definitions, principles, testing methods, comparison samples, testing equipment, procedures and result evaluation of round steel point coil eddy current testing. This standard applies to the eddy current flaw detection inspection of surface and near-surface defects of round steel (including steel wire) with a diameter of 2 to 100mm.
