- This standard provides an environment suitable for accelerated aging tests on finished pressure-sensitive tape materials. This standard applies to adhesive tapes for packaging and also to other types of adhesive tapes with the same structure. This standard does not provide test conclusions. This standard should be used in conjunction with the visual inspection or physical performance test methods after accelerated aging. This standard does not apply to electrical insulating adhesive tapes.
