Scope

This standard specifies the qualifications, responsibilities and necessary conditions of gas cylinder periodic inspection stations (hereinafter referred to as inspection stations). This standard applies to gas cylinder inspection stations that conduct regular technical inspections of seamless gas cylinders, welded gas cylinders, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders and dissolved acetylene cylinders. This standard does not apply to inspection stations for cryogenic gas cylinders.
