Scope: This standard specifies the scope of application, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs of high-voltage bushings. This standard applies to high-voltage electrical equipment, generators, transformers, reactors, circuit breakers and other electrical devices in three-phase AC power transmission and transformation systems with a rated voltage higher than 1000V and a frequency of 45Hz~60Hz specified in Chapter 4. High voltage bushing supplied separately. After agreement between the supplier and the purchaser, this standard can also refer to similar bushings used in non-three-phase systems, such as: rectifiers, test transformers or cable terminal bushings. This standard does not apply to the insulation structure similar to bushings used as insulating pillars in metal-enclosed switchgear; it also does not apply to pure porcelain bushings up to 35kV and bushings used in other special occasions. Casings with composite jackets can also refer to this standard.
