Scope

This standard specifies the emission standard values for type certification and production consistency inspection tests of light-duty vehicle emission pollutants and the durability requirements for emission control devices. This standard applies to light vehicles powered by ignition-type four-stroke engines or compression-ignition engines with a maximum design speed greater than or equal to 50km/h.
