Scope
This standard specifies the main performance requirements, test procedures and test reports of the test equipment used in the horizontal impact test by controlling the impact input level. This standard is applicable to assess the impact resistance strength of the transport package and the protection ability of the package to the contents when it is subjected to horizontal impact. It can be used either as a single test or as part of a package series test.
