Scope

This standard specifies the test equipment, sample preparation, test conditions, test procedures and test results presentation methods for testing the electrochemical performance of sacrificial anodes by conventional test methods and accelerated test methods. This standard is suitable for testing the electrochemical performance of zinc alloy, aluminum alloy and magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes in seawater, and testing the electrochemical performance of magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes in simulated soil.
