- This standard specifies the method for the determination of propionic acid and propionate in feed by gas chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of propionic acid and propionate in feed using propionate as antifungal agent. This standard applies to the determination of propionic acid and propionate (calculated as propionic acid) in feed with propionic acid content below 0.3%.
