Scope

This standard is part of a series of standards for sampling and testing methods for coatings and related products. This standard specifies a test method for measuring the specular gloss of coatings using a reflectometer with 20°, 60° or 85° geometry. This test method is not suitable for measuring gloss of metallic paints.
