1.1 This standard is one of a series of standards dealing with sampling and testing methods for coatings and related products. 1.2 This standard specifies the method of measuring viscosity, which is the resistance to liquid flow, using a viscometer for evaluating the fluidity of paints. This viscosity measurement is performed by selecting an appropriate method from Table 1 depending on the properties of the paint and the purpose of measurement.
