Scope
This standard specifies that Class 105 resin has the same chemical properties as the base material of polyvinyl acetal resin, and has a layer mainly composed of polyvinyl acetal resin that has been modified to satisfy all specified wire characteristics. It relates to vinyl acetal aluminum wire. Note: Modified resins are resins that have been chemically modified or have - or more additives added to them in order to improve their properties and applicability. Class 105 is a heat resistance class that requires a temperature index of 105 or higher and a thermal shock resistance of 155°C or higher. The temperature (°C) corresponding to the temperature index does not necessarily imply a recommendation for the use of the wire at that temperature. It depends on many factors including the equipment used. Size range - Grade: 1: 0.400 mm to 1.600 mm - Grade: 2: 0.400 mm to 5.000 mm The nominal conductor diameter is according to JIS C 3215-0-3 4.
