Scope

The document defines the essential characteristics of 3-strand laid (Form A) and 8-stand quadrate plated (Form L) fibre ropes made of polyproylene multifilament used in navigation. It gives rules for their designation. The breaking force of these fibre ropes is higher than that of fibre ropes fabricated according to DIN EN 699.
