1.1 This part of GB/T 20438 includes the terms and explanations used in Parts 1 to 7 of GB/T 20438. 1.2 These definitions are grouped by headings so that related terms can be understood in terms of their context, but such grouping does not mean that they add meaning to the definitions, so the headings of these groups are not considered. 1.3 GB/T 20438.1, GB/T 20438.2, GB/T 20438.3 and GB/T 20438.4 are basic safety standards, although they are not applicable to simple E/E/PE safety-related systems (See 3.4.4), as basic safety standards, in accordance with the principles contained in IEC Guide 104 and ISO/IEC Guide 51, each technical committee should consider using these standards when drafting standards, because one of the responsibilities of the technical committee is First, when drafting your own standards, basic safety standards should be implemented wherever applicable. GB/T 20438 can also be used as an independent standard. 1.4 Figure 1 shows the overall framework of GB/T 20438, and also clarifies the role of this part in the process of achieving functional safety of E/E/PE safety-related systems.
