This standard specifies the method for testing the absolute dryness of pulp samples. This method is not applicable to pulps containing volatiles other than water that evaporate at the specified drying temperature. In addition, this method is used when the absolute dryness rate of samples for physical and chemical tests of pulp in the laboratory is required, and is not applicable to mass calculations of slush pulp and commercial pulp lots.
