Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the compressibility of metal powders. Powder compaction is under specified conditions, in a closed mold, using uniaxial bidirectional compaction, and the compressibility of the metal powder is represented by the compact density. This method is not suitable for cemented carbide powder.
