Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of zinc-manganese dry batteries and alkaline zinc-manganese dry batteries. This standard applies to R03, R1, R6, R14, R20, type zinc-manganese dry batteries with zinc as the negative active material, manganese dioxide as the positive active material, and ammonium chloride and zinc chloride as the electrolyte, and zinc-manganese dry batteries with zinc as the negative active material. LR03, LR, LR6, LR14, LR20 type alkaline zinc-manganese dry batteries (hereinafter referred to as "battery") with manganese dioxide as the positive electrode active material and alkali metal hydroxide as the electrolyte.
