Scope

This standard specifies the specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, supply methods, packaging and signs of platinum rhodium 30-platinum rhodium 6 thermocouple wire. This standard applies to the manufacture of industrial platinum-rhodium 30-platinum-rhodium 6 thermocouples (type B thermocouples) and standard platinum-rhodium 30-platinum-rhodium 6 thermocouple wires (hereinafter referred to as wires).
