Scope

This standard stipulates the variety specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, supply methods, packaging and specimen standards of nickel-chromium-nickel-silicon thermocouple wires. It is applicable to the manufacture of industrial nickel-chromium-nickel-silicon thermocouples (K-type thermocouples). Alloy wire (hereinafter referred to as even wire).
