Scope

This standard applies to low-voltage complete switchgear and control equipment with constant frequency voltage not exceeding 1000V AC, frequency not exceeding 1000Hz, and rated voltage DC not exceeding 1500V, including type test complete sets (TTA) and some type test complete sets equipment (PTTA). This standard is also applicable to complete equipment with higher frequency control and power devices. In this case the corresponding additional requirements shall apply. This standard applies to fixed or mobile ASSEMBLY with or without enclosures. Note: The special requirements for some special types of complete equipment are given in the relevant national standards. This standard applies to complete sets of equipment that are used in conjunction with equipment for power generation, transmission, distribution, and power conversion, as well as equipment for controlling power consumption. This standard applies to type test assemblies (TTA) used on construction sites, such as temporary work sites not generally accessible to the public, i.e. those carrying out construction, erection, repair, alteration or demolition of buildings (buildings), or urban construction ( public facilities), or excavation and other similar work sites. These packages can be transportable (semi-stationary) or mobile. This standard does not apply to those installations used in the administrative back-office of the construction site (offices, changing rooms, meeting rooms, canteens, restaurants, dormitories, toilets, etc.). Note: Regarding the transformer installed in the complete set of equipment for construction sites, it should be noted that its primary nominal voltage and secondary nominal voltage must be limited within the range specified in GB 7251.1 to make this standard applicable.
