Scope

This standard specifies the ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) disodium salt titration method for the determination of submersible substances in whole rubber products. Lead, iron, titanium, antimony, silica and silicates contained in the ash do not affect the measurements. However, this method cannot be applied if the ash contains cobalt.
