Scope: This standard specifies the acceptance test methods for volume flow and power of positive displacement compressors. In Appendix A, this standard also stipulates the performance test method of positive displacement air compressors for general use. For air compressors manufactured in batches or continuously and sold according to the corresponding performance parameters published in the sales documents of the manufacturer, the simplified performance test can be carried out according to the provisions of Appendix B, Appendix C and Appendix D. This standard gives a detailed description of the full performance test, including the determination of volume flow and power, correcting the measured value to the value under the specified working condition, and comparing the corrected value with the value under the guaranteed working condition. For all acceptance tests carried out in accordance with this standard, the allowable deviations in the measurement of flow, power, specific power, etc. should be agreed by both the manufacturer and the user at the stage of contract signing or before the acceptance test. This standard specifies the method for determining this allowable deviation . Appendix E specifies the operating conditions for reference.
