- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and general uses of industrial wire braided wire mesh for screening and filtration, and also specifies tolerances, technical requirements and inspection methods. This standard applies to industrial wire woven square mesh, the material of which is steel, stainless steel or non-ferrous metals; it does not apply to wire woven mesh, pre-bent forming and wire welded screens coated after weaving. The use of woven wire mesh not used for sieving should be restricted, because sieving has other prerequisites. Different requirements can be agreed between the supplier and the buyer when ordering.
