- This standard specifies the mechanical property tests, sampling locations and specimen preparation requirements for steel bars, steel bars, steel plates and steel pipes defined in GB/T 15574. After negotiation between the supplier and the buyer, this standard can also be used for sampling other metal products. If there are other provisions on sampling in the product standard or the agreement between the supplier and the purchaser, the provisions shall be followed.
