This part of ISO 4696 specifies a method for testing the disintegration of iron ores by tumbling, at room temperature, a test portion that has been reduced in a fixed bed at a temperature of 550 ℃.
The method is applicable to natural iron ores and to iron ore agglomerates such as pellets or sinter.
