- This standard specifies the technical requirements and specifications for the non-destructive quantitative analysis method for the content of gold jewelry by X-ray energy spectrometer with scanning electron microscope. This standard is applicable to the determination of the gold content of various pure gold ornaments and K gold ornaments, and also applicable to the determination of the gold content of the surface layer of various gold-plated, gold-clad, forged gold and other ornaments whose surface gold layer thickness is greater than 3um. This standard also applies to the analysis of gold jewelry by electron probe X-ray energy spectrometer.
