Scope: This standard applies to transmitters that measure AC power and have power input, DC analog or digital signal output. The part used for communication should be compatible with the external system. This standard applies to measuring transmitters that convert alternating current quantities (such as current, voltage, active power, reactive power, power factor, phase angle and frequency) into an output signal. This standard is applicable to: a) Transmitters with a nominal input frequency between 5 Hz and 1500 Hz; b) If the measuring transmitter is used as a part of a non-electrical measurement system, and this part falls within the scope of this standard, Then this standard also applies to the electrical measuring transmitter; c) This standard also applies to the transmitter used in remote measurement, process control and in a specified environment.
