This standard applies to the determination of the thermal conductivity of isotropic homogeneous materials with a thermal conductivity less than 2W/(m·K). Especially lightweight isotropic homogeneous insulation materials. This standard does not apply to conductive non-metallic materials (such as silicon carbide). This standard method is a supplementary method to the steady-state method, applicable to occasions such as enterprise quality control, not applicable to identification or arbitration tests.
