Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining dissolved potassium by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. This standard is intended for analyzing raw water. This standard is applicable to samples of 5-50 mg/l potassium. This range can be lower or higher if a dilution factor different from that specified in 8. is used.
