Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining dissolved sodium by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. This standard is intended for analyzing raw water. This standard is applicable to water samples with sodium between 5 and 50 mg/l. This range can be lower or higher if a dilution factor different from that specified in 8. is used.
