JIS D 1030:1998 Automobiles -- Analytical procedure for measurement of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, total hydrocarbons and oxides of nitrogen in exhaust gas
This standard uses non-dispersive infrared spectrometers, hydrogen flame ionization spectrometers, and chemiluminescence spectrometers to measure emissions from gasoline vehicles, Isel vehicles, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) vehicles, or the engines installed in them. carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide in exhaust gas. Specifies the direct measurement method in which total hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides are measured by taking a sample directly from the exhaust pipe, and the dilution measurement method in which the exhaust gas is diluted with air.
