Scope

This part of GB/T 18910 lists the test methods for liquid crystal display devices, taking into account the environmental test methods specified in IEC 60068 as much as possible. This section also covers visual inspection methods for LCD screens and modules. Note 1: This section is derived from. Extracted from IEC 60749, because liquid crystal display device technology is completely different from semiconductor devices, such as: 　——shape and size; 　——materials and structure used; 　——function; 　——measurement method; 　——working principle. Note 2: Devices include LCD displays and modules. The purpose of this section is to evaluate the environmental performance of liquid crystal display devices and determine unified optimal test methods and optimal stress level values. If this section is inconsistent with relevant specifications, the relevant specifications shall prevail.
