Scope
The temperature correction factor specified in this standard is suitable for correcting the volume of water discharged from the standard measuring device into the measured device. This volume difference is caused by the difference between the verification temperature and the standard reference temperature. Note 1: This standard neither proposes a verification method nor considers the uncertainty of temperature measurement. For requirements in this regard, reference can be made to other standards. The correction factor takes into account the difference in the volumes of the standard and the device under test due to the following temperature effects: The change in water volume due to the difference in temperature of the water in the standard and in the device under test. Note 2: This standard is applicable to the volume of water discharged from the standard measuring device into the device under test or the volume of water discharged from the device under test, but this standard is written based on the volume of water discharged into the device under test . The change in the volume of the standard measuring device and the measured device due to the difference between the verification temperature and the standard reference temperature.
