Scope
The document describes a biological method for the determination of the biodegradability of an organic substance in water by aerobic micro-organisms. The test compound will be stored in an aqueous medium in a closed bottle under defined conditions and the biodegradability will be evaluated after 28 days by measuring the oxygen demand (BOD).
