This part of GB/T 18910 applies to field-type passive monochrome liquid crystal displays. It gives details of the quality assessment procedures, inspection requirements, screening sequences, sampling requirements, tests and test methods required to evaluate liquid crystal displays. For all products produced according to the specified process, the capability approval process can replace the identification approval process (see 11.7 of the QC001002 procedure, but the capability approval process for LCD screens is currently under consideration). Unless a revision is requested in 4.7, all requirements in this specification remain valid.
