Scope

This standard specifies the test method for determining the air content of fresh concrete () by volume (). Note () Applies to coarse aggregates with a maximum dimension of 50 mm or less. If the maximum dimension exceeds 50 mm, it is best to measure using a wet-screened sample and calculate it. ()This test method can also be applied to concrete using porous aggregates such as artificial lightweight aggregate concrete.
