This standard specifies the principles, configuration, functions, performance, performance test methods, and usage of industrial electromagnetic flowmeters (hereinafter referred to as flowmeters). However, this does not apply to flowmeters for medical use, liquid metal measurement, and open channel flow rate measurement.
