Scope
This part of GB/T 22055 specifies the thread dimensions of microscope objectives and nosepieces or lens barrels. This part of GB/T 22055 applies to the objective lens thread code-named WJ4/5 in × 1/36 in. Note 1: Except for thread length, all values given are consistent with international thread standards. This thread is recommended for use on microscopes unless a different fit is required for optical or design reasons. NOTE 2: A specific combination of eyepieces, objectives and tube lenses (if provided, e.g., infinity corrected optics) is usually poorly corrected and therefore combined by an objective lens from one manufacturer and an eyepiece lens from another, even if All comply with the provisions of this part of GB/T 22055, but may still cause a reduction in image quality. Subject to compliance with this part of GB/T 22055, objectives and eyepieces from one manufacturer may be combined with microscopes from another manufacturer.
