This standard specifies the flame atomic absorption spectrophotometric method for the determination of copper and zinc in soil. The detection limit of this standard (calculated by weighing 0.5g sample to digest and dilute to 50ml) is: copper 1mg/kg, zinc 05mg/kg. When the iron content in the soil digestion solution is greater than 100mg/L, the absorption of zinc is inhibited, and the interference of coexisting components can be eliminated by adding lanthanum nitrate. When the salt content is high, non-characteristic absorption often occurs, which can be overcome by background correction.
