Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, inspection methods, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of coal-based granular activated carbon for solvent recovery. This standard applies to coal-based granular activated carbon used for recovery of organic solvents such as benzene, toluene, xylene, ether, ethanol, gasoline, chloroform, and carbon tetrachloride.
