Scope

This standard specifies the basic method for measuring and mapping quantitative pole figures of metallic materials by X-ray diffractometer. This standard applies to cold and hot processed metal sheets and recrystallized metal sheets under certain conditions. Quantitative pole figure mapping of other polycrystalline materials can also refer to this method.
