- Scope
- This standard specifies the determination of vertical flame spread performance of single-component or multi-component (coated, quilted, multi-layer, sandwich products and similar combinations) clothing, curtains, curtains and large tents, including awnings and door covers method. This standard can only be used to evaluate the performance of materials or combinations of materials after exposure to flame under laboratory controlled conditions. The test results are not applicable to occasions with insufficient oxygen supply or prolonged heating in a large fire.
