Scope

This standard stipulates the standardization, transmission procedures and network interface requirements of the three types of document and facsimile machines with a transmission rate of 64kbit/s used on the ISDN. This standard is mainly applicable to the development, production and communication organization of the three types of document facsimile machines with a transmission rate of 64kbit/s on the ISDN; this standard is also applicable to the application of the above-mentioned facsimile machines on other digital networks or dedicated lines.
