- Scope
- This standard specifies the test method for the conductivity type of extrinsic semiconducting materials. This standard method can guarantee reliable results for uniform materials of the same conductivity type. For non-uniform samples, areas of different conductivity types can be measured on the surface. This standard method is not applicable to the determination of the conductivity type of layered structure samples, such as epitaxial wafers.
