Scope

This standard specifies a method for the determination of the alkalinity of chloroprene rubber latex polymerized with an alkaline emulsifier. This standard does not apply to: chloroprene rubber latex and concentrated natural latex prepared with non-ionic emulsifiers, nor is it necessarily applicable to other synthetic latex other than chloroprene latex.
