This part of GB/T 6109 specifies the requirements for single paint layer 240 grade enameled copper round wire based on aromatic polyimide resin. Class 240 represents the thermal class, which requires a minimum temperature index of 240 and a thermal shock temperature of at least 260°C. The Celsius temperature corresponding to the temperature index is not the recommended operating temperature for enameled wire, as this depends on many factors including the type of equipment used. The nominal diameter range of conductors specified in this part is:
——Level 1: 0.020mm and above and 2.000mm and below;
——Level 2: 0.020mm and above and 5.000mm and below; The nominal diameter of the conductor is according to No. 4 in GB/T 6109.1-2008 regulations of the chapter.
