This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of food additive lac red pigment. This standard applies to the food additive lac red pigment produced by hydrochloric acid method using lac gum as raw material. This product can be used as food coloring agent.
