- This standard specifies the standard frequency values for electrical equipment. This standard applies to single-phase and three-phase AC power systems and electrical equipment (including electrical equipment, electronic equipment, telecommunication equipment, and electrical appliances for household and similar purposes) with a frequency from 50 Hz to 10 000 Hz. This standard does not apply to the following situations: Railway signal control loops; Internal control loops of a single device or a group of devices.
