- This standard specifies the overall system and services for EDI message processing. In other standards, other aspects of message processing systems and services are specified. The standard layout of the message processing system and services is shown in CCITT F.400. CCITT F.400 series standards stipulate the public services formed on the MHS, and the interrogation and mutual visit of the public services to the MHS. The CCITT X.400 series of recommendations stipulates the content of the MHS technology, and the overall system structure of the MHS is specified in the CCITTX.402 recommendation. The content of EDI message processing technology is specified in the CCITTX.435 proposal.
